Fred Beyer, a 21-year-old YouTuber, generated much chatter on social media after he crashed a runway during the New York Fashion Week. The show was organised by Creators Inc., a social media management agency.

While crashing the runway, Beyer wore a clear trash bag and bright pink shorts. He accessorised his hairdo with a shower cap. However, before he could finish his walk, the show’s security ran on the ramp and tackled him. The security personnel moved him out of the event’s premises.

Beyer, who has over three lakh subscribers on YouTube, shared a detailed video of his runway crash on his YouTube channel on September 14. It has over 2.8 lakh likes so far.

Commenting on this video, a YouTuber wrote, “When I get rich, I’ll need a bodyguard like this security guy. He whisked Fred out of there in just a couple of seconds. No time to even blink. And he’s a cool guy on top of that. 🤣”. Another person wrote, “The only prank where he hasn’t destroyed anything or done something to make someone angry 👍🏾”.

This is not the only time when a YouTuber or prankster has crashed a runway. In October 2019, French comedian S’Infiltre, who has over four lakh subscribers on her YouTube channel, crashed the runway of Chanel’s spring/summer 2020 show at Paris Fashion Week as showstopper Gigi Hadid and other models walked the finale. She jumped onto the runway dressed in a black-and-white Chanel-style tweed suit and hat. According to reports, supermodel Gigi Hadid confronted her on the runway and discreetly escorted her off.
