Having different passwords for different social media accounts and platforms is one of the simplest and most effective ways of keeping your digital data safe. Recently, the Nagpur police espoused the value of this simple step in a quirky post that took the help of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Jawan. In the post, the law enforcement agency equates SRK’s different looks with different passwords.

Commenting on the police department’s use of social media trends to promote safe cyber security practices, an X user wrote, “@NagpurPolice shares a cyber safety message and how ! 👏👏😍”. Another person wrote, “🔐Remember, in the grand tale of online security, let your passwords be as diverse as the looks of King Khan!”

An X user joked that the Nagpur police are acting like SRK’s marketing team and wrote, “Kya matlab ab @iamsrk Saab ne Nagpur Police ko bhi pr bana Liya 😭😭😭 (What do you mean, now @iamsrk has made Nagpur Police his PR team).”

This is not the first time that the Nagpur police have used a movie to spread the message about cyber security.

In February 2022, Nagpur police shared a witty message warning people against cyber fraud. The tweet, inspired by Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise, shows a famous still from the movie in which the protagonist says the now-iconic dialogue, “Mai jhukega nahi (I will not bow down).” In the Nagpur police tweet, the protagonist instead says, “Mai link kholega nahi (I will not open the link).”
