With several users reporting harrowing experiences with cab rides in different cities, a Mumbai driver is winning hearts for cancelling the ride, earning praise for his honesty and respectful communication. A passenger who had booked a ride from Borivali to Thane shared the incident on Reddit.

Instead of abruptly cancelling the ride or not showing up, the Uber driver sent a polite message explaining why he wouldn’t be able to take the trip.

After checking the details, the driver realised that the fare offered was too low for the time and effort involved. Rather than ignoring the booking, he chose to be transparent.
