Packing before a trip can be a daunting task. Folding, rolling or stuffing items into luggage requires a blueprint, as one strives to maximise space while minimising wrinkles. While several packing videos are floating on social media, megastar Amitabh Bachchan is impressed with a video showing how to smartly fold a puffer jacket and other clothes to minimise space. Big B wrote on X responding to the video, “(S)mart .. going to learn this for packing.” Watch the viral video here: Reacting to Big B’s post, a social media user commented, “Packing is fine, im sure il not be able to unpack these.” Another user commented, “Hahahaa.. it takes lots of time for the first time for me but now I’m expert.” “Wow sir. this is so ingenious. So many thanks for sharing,” the third user commented. The method is similar to the one that organisational mogul Marie Kondo has featured in her hugely popular videos. Kondo, a Japanese television personality and a consultant, has built her brand based on organising. Kondo’s method of organising is popular as the KonMari method, which ranges from gathering one’s belongings to keeping only those that bring joy and choosing a place to organise them. She has won several accolades and was included in the TIME 100 list of the world’s most influential people. She released her Netflix series Tidying Up With Marie Kondo in 2019, which bagged a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program.
