For fans who were eagerly waiting for the IPL final between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad Sunday, not a single delivery could be bowled as rain played spoilsport.

The summit clash will now be played on its reserve day, Monday. There is a prediction of a thunderstorm around 5 pm, but unlike Sunday it is not expected to last long.

Fans are hoping they can finally witness the mouth-watering clash Monday. Till then, many people have been sharing memes related to the scenarios of people taking leave from their office on Monday to catch the IPL final match.

On its Twitter handle, Indian Premier League authorities said physical tickets that were issued for Sunday will be valid on Monday as well and requested fans to keep the tickets safe.
