The video quickly gained traction, amassing over 3 lakh views. It also triggered a debate, with several users supporting the groom and slamming parents for failing to control their kids at such events.

“People need to understand its an expensive photoshoot and film shoot. Its not just some wedding which is supposed to be an inclusive celebration of alliance,” a user wrote. “People often believe love or marriage will “fix” problems. But after years, unchanging red-flag behaviors show the real personality. This is a wake-up call—not something to ignore. If someone slapping the kids in the stage. He will raise his hands on wife also one day,” another user commented.

“the groom should have let the children celebrate the occasion in their own ways……supposing grooms children in future are scolded that way, what would be his feelings,” a third user reacted. “Full support to the groom,” a fourth user said.
