Heartwarming videos frequently emerge showing fans celebrating the accomplishments of the Indian cricket team, and one such video is currently circulating the internet.

On the opening day of the India vs Bangladesh 1st Test match in Chennai, Ravichandran Ashwin‘s impressive century became the highlight of the game. His determined performance earned applause from his teammates and the crowd at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Among the many cheering for him was an elderly woman, who stood up in the stands to celebrate his achievement. Her excitement was especially noticeable as she cheered loudly when Ashwin struck a six off Shakib Al Hasan.

The elderly fan’s enthusiasm continued throughout Ashwin’s innings, as she clapped for each boundary he hit. Her energetic support drew the attention of many, making her a focal point during the match.

A video shared by the BCCI on X has already gotten over 150,000 views. Numerous fans have responded, with one commenting, “Grand ma is enjoying cricket. A real fan. Once again Old Lady luck rather blessings saved India.” Another praised Ashwin’s performance, calling him “one of the all-time greats”.
