Swiggy, in the latest post on Instagram, has re-imagined what it would be like if some of your favourite foods like dosa, pasta, chai, rajma chawal, vada pav, dhokla, and croissant decided to have their profiles on LinkedIn. The vada pav introduced itself as “Brand ambassador @ Mumbai/ Senior street food specialist/ Engaging in only spicy chatpata conversations”. Dosa pointed out the many variants of its name and wrote “Alias dosa, dosha, dosai | Bagged the Best Breakfast Classic award (2021, 2022, 2023) | In collaboration with sambar and coconut chutney.” Rajma chawal listed its credentials as “CEO @ comfort food | A love language | successful partnership with mummy ke haath, dahi, and pyaaz”. Chai was described simply as the “manager @ everyone’s mood”, while croissant self-admittedly described itself as “Declared as the most difficult word to spell after Gorjus”. Pasta listed its prime achievement as “Winner of the Safe Option at Fancy Cafe Award 2022”. The now-viral post has so far raked up over 3,700 likes since it was posted on Tuesday. It was wittily captioned, “my appraisal depends on this post getting 10k likes ”, against the backdrop of the appraisal season. Commenting on this post, an Instagram user wrote, “Okay, I'm officially in love with whoever handles swiggy's insta page. From one copywriter to another, I tip my hat to you. ”. Another person wrote, “@swiggyindia creative level appreciate… I personally loved the part of dosa collaborating with chutney and sambar..”.
