He polished and painted it to give it a glossy, premium finishA young man in Delhi has caught the Internet’s attention for his creativity and entrepreneurial spirit after crafting a roadside stone into an artistic clock and selling it for Rs 5,000. According to a video shared by daily.bharat.news, the man claimed he earned a profit of more than 987 per cent within minutes.
In the now-viral video, the man says he picked up an ordinary stone from the roadside, and decided to turn it into a one-of-a-kind art piece. He says he took the stone to a craftsman to get it cut into the shape he wanted.
He polished and painted it to give it a glossy, premium finish. After fitting a clock mechanism inside the stone, he turned it into a functional showpiece.
When he tried to sell the clock, onlookers praised his creativity but hesitated to buy it because “the back of the clock was exposed.” Instead of giving up, he improvised and creatively covered the backside. With the upgraded version, he soon found a buyer, a “rich uncle,” as he says in the video, who bought his clock for Rs 5,000.
According to him, the total cost of making the piece was just Rs 460.

The video has since gone viral, drawing a wave of reactions.
“It’s actually a brilliant idea of turning a stone in a Clock due to its self-weight, it could be the best side table clock if not hanging,” a user wrote. “It’s a 10/10 Idea. Totally worth 5,000. That’s what a luxe brand like nicojounal and others would charge anyway,” another user commented.
“The man who bought will sell this with 20000 price tag…..he may be an interior designer,” a third user reacted.
“I don’t understand why profit is blocked. He can start his own company. It’s a nice idea,” a fourth user chimed in.
