Arshia Goswami is an 8-year-old from Panchkula, Haryana. Just like any typical Gen-Alpha child, she enjoys having fun and even has an Instagram account. Her energetic personality and fascination with new things make her seem like any other school kid.
However, it is Arshia’s talent in weightlifting – which she mostly does at her father’s gym – that makes her stand apart from peers. Despite weighing only 25 kg, she can deadlift more than double her body weight, with a personal best of 60 kg – an Asian record for her age, according to the India Book of Records.
Recently, a video on her Instagram showed Arshia lifting a staggering 70 kg Sumo deadlift. Her impressive skills have garnered widespread praise from netizens, showcasing the incredible potential held within this young individual. While she enjoys the process and views weights as her playthings, her dedication and strength have captured the hearts of many.
