Chris Olsen, a YouTuber and TikTok star, shared an embarrassing encounter that he had on a flight after he realised he was sitting next to a famous Hollywood actress.
In a video he posted on YouTube, Olsen said he was on a flight and he accidentally sat on the second row instead of his designated row. There was one woman on the window seat and the middle seat was empty, he said. Olsen began to listen to some music and Canadian singer Celine Dion was on his mind as she had cancelled her tour and they were playing a bunch of her songs on the news, he shared.
As he got up from the seat and was apologising to the woman, he thought she looked familiar. He then realised that it was none other than Kate Winslet, the Oscar-winning actress, who played the lead role of Rose DeWitt Bukater in Titanic.
Olsen showed how he clicked a few photos of Winslet and while her face wasn’t visible, he claimed that she was wearing the same jacket that she wore at Cannes. The flight was also from Cannes to London, he claimed.

Netizens weren’t convinced that all this was an accident and said it sounded like he sat next to her knowingly as he wanted to create content.
“It sounds like you purposely sat next to her to create content,” a user wrote. “She must have been SOOO thankful that she didn’t have to sit next to you for the entire flight. She really dodged a bullet there,” said another.
