Abhay Singh, popular as IIT Baba from Mahakumbh Mela, recently caused a stir on social media after his prediction ahead of the highly-anticipated India vs Pakistan cricket match in the Champions Trophy. He predicted that India would lose to Pakistan and that Virat Kohli would not perform well in the match. However, India won against Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday, with Kohli’s century being the cherry on top.
“Abhi kya message dena chahoge?” (What message do you want to give now?),” the streamers who first aired his prediction asked IIT Baba after India’s victory.
“Hum toh aise khelte hain na. Hum jab khelte hai toh bus hamare liye khelte hai. Kuch message nahi hai.(We play like this only, we play for ourselves. I don’t have any message). Prediction, vediction mein kabhi vishwas nahi karna chahiye, kisi ka mat karo vishwas. Apna dimaag use karo, na kabhi bhi (Don’t believe in predictions, use your brains),” IIT Baba responded.
