British Airways is celebrating 100 years of connecting India and the United Kingdom with a heartfelt tribute sure to resonate with Indians. In honour of this milestone, the airline is rolling out some special surprises to show their appreciation for this long-standing relationship.

Through the end of November, passengers flying from Heathrow to India, North America, and Canada will be treated to a special in-flight menu, featuring a variety of authentic Indian dishes.

The food offerings range from fragrant coconut rice with rich lamb curry to phaldari kofta paired with spiced veggies and fresh pomegranate seeds. Spiced grilled lamb served with Rogan josh sauce, railway lamb curry with basmati rice, jackfruit biryani, zafrani chicken with coconut rice and saag makai are also on the menu. And a delicious bhapa doi dessert topped with passion fruit, mango, and papaya.

To improve the experience, British Airways has added more than 100 Indian films to its in-flight entertainment lineup, including timeless favorites like Dil Chahta Hai. They have also partnered with Twinnings to offer a tea that blends the flavors of cardamom, cinnamon, and ginger to create a tea that embodies the spirit of India’s favorite masala chai, making the flight even more memorable.
