Virat Kohli, is one of the most loved cricketers — not just in India, but all across the nation. However, the 28-year-old has been targeted by trolls on the Internet quite often. Recently, an Australian journalist — Dennis Freedman, whose official handle is @DennisCricket_ — tried to mock the right-handed batsman. This not the first time he took a dig at Kohli. Remember when he tagged him as a “sweeper” on Twitter?

Getting back to his tweet tactics, the journalist uploaded a picture with a shocked expression of Kohli, and posted a rather cheeky caption saying, “When you walk out to bat and see Amir has the ball.” It may have been just a humourous jibe, but Kohli’s fans clearly thought otherwise and trolled Freedman to take revenge. Taking his comment to the heart, Twitter users trashed him with their brutal reactions.

A lot of people came up with sarcastic retorts for the writer. While one user said, “That’s pakistan’s reaction eachtime when they face India in Worldcups,” another one tweeted, “And when Australians see dis man coming to bat and they don’t know which ball to bowl. Poor ausies.”
