Bryan Johnson, a millionaire entrepreneur who is on a quest to “reverse” his age, has felt the severity of air pollution in Mumbai soon after he landed in the city for an event held in collaboration with Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal.

The former Silicon Valley executive responded to a post by Indian-origin former Google employee Debarghya, who highlighted the impact pollution has on health. As per the post, his eyes water more and that he ends up blowing his nose more often when in India.

As the post caught Johnson’s attention, he wrote that his throat and eyes started burning when he landed in Mumbai. “This is accurate. I arrived in Mumbai yesterday, and even with air purifiers in my hotel room and wearing a N95 mask outside, my throat and eyes burn. I agree, it’s a pretty serious health situation,” he wrote.

“I agree. The situation is dire, the air quality is really bad. It is difficult to go outside. I am constantly feeling it in my eyes and the stuffed nose. Some serious action is required to fix this situation,” a third user reacted.

Johnson made waves after he developed Blueprint as a platform for cutting-edge methods for reversing ageing. The 45-year-old spoke at the event titled Don’t Die, hosted by Zomato’s Deepinder Goyal for 50 attendees.
