In July 2025, Larry Ellison, the co-founder and chairman of Oracle, rose from the fourth to the second-richest person in the world.

With his net worth reaching approximately $275.9 billion, Ellison experienced a remarkable increase of $56 billion since the beginning of June, largely propelled by a 32% surge in Oracle’s stock prices.

This significant growth enabled him to surpass Mark Zuckerberg of Meta and Jeff Bezos of Amazon, who are now ranked as the third and fourth-richest individuals, respectively.

Jensen Huang, CEO and co-founder of NVIDIA — the most valuable company in the world — experienced a boost in his fortune as well, with an estimated increase of $20 billion, bringing his total net worth to $137 billion.

This rise led Huang to move up a rank to 10th, displacing Amancio Ortega of Inditex, who is known for the Zara brand, at the 12th position.
