Love to swim? Think your Delhi club swimming pool is the best thing to happen to your life? Well this upcoming London swimming pool which is hanging in the sky and made entirely out of glass, will probably leave you feeling very jealous.
The swimming pool, which is part of new London development by Irish developer Ballymore Group acts like a bridge between two apartment blocks in Embassy Gardens in London. A bridge that is actually a swimming pool and 10 storeys high.
Ballymore’s Chairman and Group Chief Executive Sean Mulryan was quoted in the Guardian as saying, “My vision for the sky pool stemmed from a desire to push the boundaries in the capability of construction and engineering…I wanted to do something that had never been done before.”
The Guardian report goes on to note that “25-metre-long pool will be completely ‘structure free’ and made of 20cm thick glass sheets.” What this means is that the swimmers can stare down the glass in the bottom of the pool, right down to the street.
According to a report on The Verge, ” the pool will allow residents to swim between the development’s roof-top bar, spa, and orangery (a walkway will be available as well).”
And yes an apartment with an access to a glass swimming pool won’t come cheap: The prices for this start at £602,000 which is around Rs 6,25,40680.

So there you have it: A swimming pool in the sky, reminding us that when it comes to the uber rich, sky is the limit for their luxuries.
