OnePlus is gearing up to launch its latest flagship smartphone – the OnePlus 15 in India on November 13. The upcoming premium device brings a fresh design, a redesigned camera module, upgraded internals, and several hardware and software improvements under the hood. Here’s a quick look at everything you need to know about the OnePlus 15, including its key specifications and expected price.

OnePlus 15 specifications

The OnePlus 15 will be the first phone in India to come with Qualcomm’s latest and fastest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. If we take a look at the Chinese variant of the phone, which is already available for purchase, the OnePlus 15 will most likely sport a 1.6K 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits of outdoor brightness.

For gamers, the company claims the OnePlus 15 offers consistent framerates “even under the most demanding conditions”, thanks to a new advanced triple-chip architecture. It is expected to come with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Running on Oxygen OS 16 based on Android 16, the OnePlus 15 gets numerous new AI features and under-the-hood software optimisations that make it feel smooth.

With the OnePlus 15, the company has also dropped the circular camera island layout in favour of a more traditional-looking looking squarish design that houses a triple camera setup. In terms of optics, the OnePlus 15 packs in a 50MP primary camera in addition to a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto shooter with 3.5x optical zoom. It is interesting to note that OnePlus seems to have ended its partnership with Hasselblad and is instead going with its proprietary DetailMax image engine.

The device is expected to be powered by a massive 7,300mAh Silicon Carbon battery that supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. OnePlus also claims that the battery will retain more than 80 per cent health after four years and can operate in temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius.

OnePlus has already confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will launch globally, including in India, on November 13 at 7 PM IST. The event will be live-streamed online on YouTube as well as on OnePlus’ official website. The company has also confirmed that the phone will be available for pre-order on the same day at 8 PM.

OnePlus 15 expected price in India

The OnePlus 15 is expected to launch with a price tag of somewhere around Rs 70,000, but we may see a bump thanks to the rising cost of chipsets and memory modules. It is rumoured to come in three colourways – Absolute Black, Misty Purple and Sand Dune and will most likely be available on Amazon, OnePlus websites and offline retail stores.
