Apple to launch several new Macs at WWDC 2023

Apple is speculated to launch several new Macs, including the all-new 15-inch MacBook Air, Apple Silicon-powered Mac Pro, and much more.

Apple has officially confirmed that its next iteration of the Worldwide Developer Conference will kick off on June 5. At WWDC, the next-generation iPhone, Mac, Watch, and Apple TV software announcements will take center stage. Similarly, the company is also speculated to launch several new Macs, including the all-new 15-inch MacBook Air, Apple Silicon-powered Mac Pro, and much more.

While some leaks speculated that Apple will unveil M3-powered Macs, a new report from Mark Gurman of Bloomberg suggests that the company will also announce M2-based Macs, which could include a 15-inch MacBook Air with an M2 chip, a new and improved 13-inch MacBook Pro with an M2 chip, and lastly, a new 13-inch MacBook Air.

On top of that, Apple is also expected to announce its most powerful Mac, the Mac Pro with Apple silicon, at WWDC 2023, which is currently the only Mac that has yet to be transitioned from Intel to the Apple Silicon platform.

Earlier leaks also suggested that the new 13-inch MacBook Air could come featuring a 3rd Gen Apple Silicon or the M3 processor. However, with PC sales going further down in Q1 2023, the company might have taken a step back and could introduce the first Mac with an M3 chip, which is said to be more capable and power-efficient by the end of 2023.
