X (Twitter) Down Today: Elon Musk’s X back online after worldwide outage

X (Twitter) Globally Down: Access to X has been restored after the Elon Musk-owned social media platform went down for around 30 minutes on Monday, March 10. Users reported being unable to access X via its mobile app as well as the web version.

The outage spiked at around 3:15 PM IST, with over 2,500 reports logged on Downdetector.com at the specific time. While X is back online, the company is yet to confirm the outage and reveal the reason behind it.

This is the first major outage X has experienced in 2025. The last significant disruption occurred in September 2024, when the platform was inaccessible to users for over an hour.

Over 21,000 incidents of users reported facing issues with X in the US, while more than 10,800 incidents were reported in the UK, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources.
