Xiaomi Redmi 6, Redmi 6 Pro now available on open sale in India: Here are the details

To recall, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6 Pro were launched alongside the Redmi 6A this September. The Redmi 6A was the first smartphone from the lot to be made available under the open sale model earlier this week. Consumers who purchase the devices via Mi.com will be eligible to get Rs 2,200 instant cashback in terms of Jio recharge vouchers and three months of free subscription of Hungama Music.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro sports a 6.26-inch full HD+ resolution display with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with the Adreno 506 GPU. The device comes with 3GB/4GB RAM along with 32GB/64GB internal storage. It comes with a dual camera setup on the back consisting of 12MP+5MP sensors and a 5MP sensor on the front to take selfies. All of this is backed by a 4,000mAh battery.

Coming to the Redmi 6, it sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The phone comes with 32GB/64GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. The Redmi 6 also features a dual camera setup on the back with a 12MP primary sensor paired with a 5MP secondary sensor. On the front, it sports a 5MP camera for taking selfies. All of this is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery.
