HyperOS 2 is based on Android 15. (Express Photo)Xiaomi recently announced that it is rolling out HyperOS 2, its latest UI based on Android 15. The much-anticipated software update not only brings new features but also some quality-of-life changes and a bunch of new animations.
According to Xiaomi, the global version of HyperOS 2 will feature a personalised lock screen, have dynamic effects across screens when navigating the interface and introduce a 3D real-time weather system which it says tries to simulate the real atmospheric conditions around you.
While the first set of devices is expected to start getting the update sometime in November, others will have to wait a month more before they can enjoy the update. If your device is not on the list, chances are Xiaomi might bring HyperOS 2 to your device sometime later or may not be supported. Here’s a comprehensive list of devices shared by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun himself that are eligible for the HyperOS 2 update.
