Meizu might launch its new budget smartphone, m3 in India on May 11 (Source: Meizu India)
Meizu has sent invite for an event on May 11. The event in all likelihood is for the launch of m3, the budget smartphone which was announced early today in China.
Meizu m3 is the successor to m2 which was Meizu’s budget offering here in India. The smartphone has been launched in two variants – one with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and other with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
Meizu m3 comes with a 5-inch HD display and is powered by octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor coupled with Mali T860 graphics processor. Both variants of Meizu m3 also come with microSD card slot that support up to 128GB microSD card.
On the camera front, Meizu m3 comes with a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary camera. Meizu m3 runs Flyme OS 5.1 based Android Lollipop.
The dual-SIM Meizu m3 is priced at Yuan 599, which comes to around Rs 6000, while the 32GB storage version costs Yuan 799, which is around Rs 8,200.
