HMD Launches Skyline, its latest camera-centric and repair-friendly smartphone

On Monday, Human Mobile Devices (HMD) unveiled its latest camera-centric smartphone — Skyline, designed to cater to both photography enthusiasts and those who value device longevity. Priced at Rs 35,999, the HMD Skyline will be available for purchase starting today via HMD.com, Amazon, and select retail stores.

According to Ravi Kunwar, CEO & VP – India & APAC at HMD calls the HMD Skyline, “a smartphone that combines artistry with practicality.”

The phone boasts a hybrid triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 108MP wide-angle lens with OIS, a 50 MP telephoto lens, and a 13 MP ultra-wide angle lens. The camera system offers capabilities like Capture Fusion and Night Mode 3.0 along with features like 4x optical zoom support, 50mm portrait shots, and more.

HMD Skyline comes equipped with the company’s Gen2 repairability standard, where the smartphone is easy to repair, allowing users to take out the back cover by removing a single screw, offering easy access to replace internal components such as battery, display, and more.

HMD Skyline offers a vibrant pOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, ideal for smooth visuals and responsive gaming. Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, it ensures snappy performance and efficient multitasking. A 4,600 mAh battery, which can last up to 48 hours on a single charge and supports wireless charging, further enhances its appeal. While the phone box does not include a charger, every Skyline buyer will receive a complimentary 33W Type C fast charger.
