Last month, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, the country’s product certification agency. A Samsung executive had also confirmed that the company was working on a FE phone, and now the device has made its way to TENAA, revealing several features of the upcoming Fan Edition phone from Samsung.

First spotted by Slashleaks, the Galaxy S23 FE was recently listed on China’s certification authority – TENAA along with several product images suggesting that the upcoming phone will look similar to the vanilla Galaxy S23.

While the photos don’t add anything new to the previously leaked renders, it does confirm that the Galaxy S23 FE will be a G-enabled device and will be powered by an octa-core chipset with a clock speed of up to 2.99GHz.

The listing also confirms that the device will come with a 4,370mAh battery that charges at 25W. On the back, you will get a 50MP primary camera accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide and a 12MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

As opposed to the US variant, which will most likely sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, the TENAA listing hints that the South Korean tech giant might pack Exynos 2200 in China. It looks like the upcoming phone will be slightly smaller than its predecessor – Galaxy S21 FE (review) and come with a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen. Other specs include 8GB RAM and two storage options – 128GB and 256 GB.

If recent rumours are to be believed, the base variant of the Galaxy S23 FE will cost somewhere around Rs 54,999 whereas the 256GB version will be priced at Rs 59,999. To give you a quick recap, this is the same price the Galaxy S21 FE was launched last year.

However, there is no word on when the phone will be launched, so we might have to wait a while for Samsung’s official announcement.
