Funtouch OS 15: A closer look and list of eligible vivo and iQOO devices

With the Funtouch OS 15 update, Vivo is introducing some new AI features, including an AI image lab, enabling users to easily edit photos using AI to improve picture quality. Similarly, the update also introduces new system icons, large folders, and immersive wallpapers. With the Funtouch OS 15 update, the company is also introducing new screen on/off animations.

While Vivo continues to offer OriginOS in China and FunTouch OS elsewhere, with the Funtouch OS 15 update, the company is introducing origin animations. This would likely make the phone feel a lot smoother. Besides, the update is also bringing a few iOS-inspired features such as call background on the Vivo call app. Some of these features could be limited to high-end devices due to hardware compatibility.

Besides these major new features, Funtouch OS 15 also packs over 700 plus touch optimizations, up to 20 per cent faster app response, priority scheduling for faster app startup time, and improved memory management.

Select Vivo and iQOO smartphones will receive the Funtouch OS 15 update starting in the second half of this month, while the complete rollout will take a few more months.
