The game releases on October 26, which is today. Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, two of the most popular game consoles. Rockstar Games has released three versions of the game – Standard Edition, Special Edition. and Ultimate Edition.

The Standard Edition includes only the base game. Gamers can purchase the title via a local gaming store, Amazon or as a digital download from the PlayStation or Microsoft Stores. The PlayStation 4 Standard Edition is priced at Rs 3,999, and the Xbox One version costs Rs 4,000.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Special Edition includes the game itself along with exclusive story mode content including the Nuevo Paraiso gunslinger outfit, dappled black thoroughbred, bank robbery mission and much more. This version is available for Rs 5,199 on the PlayStation 4 and for Rs 5,200 on Xbox One.

Finally, the Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition offers players bonus online content like rank bonuses, black chestnut thoroughbred along with the exclusive story mode content you get in the Special Edition. The game is priced at Rs 5,999 for the PlayStation 4, whereas, the Xbox One edition costs Rs 6,000.

The game does include various in-game purchases like DLCs, outfits, etc which the users can make to have a better gaming experience. There is speculation that it could come to the PC, but for now, it isn’t confirmed.

Red Dead Redemption 2: Storyline

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an old wild west themed open world game set 12 years before the original 2010 game. The game is can be played from two perspectives first person and third person in both single player and online multiplayer modes. According to the company, the game requires approximately 60 hours to complete.

The game does include various in-game purchases like DLCs, outfits, etc which the users can make to have a better gaming experience.

This being a prequel, Rockstar Games decided to opt for a new protagonist, Arthur Morgan, who has to handle the Van der Linde gang, do the daily duties and train young recruits like John Marston, who was the protagonist in the original game. The story progresses after a robbery that Van der Linde gang is conducting goes wrong and they have to flee the town of Blackwater with heavy bounties on their heads. Now to survive the gang must rob, steal, and fight across the old wild west. During which internal conflicts start to brew and threaten to tear the gang apart.

To keep the gang afloat, fed and together, Arthur Morgan picks up various jobs and tasks to ensure everyone’s happiness. However, with the progression of the game allegiances change, internal conflict brews and moreover Arthur himself begins to question the Dutch’s way of life and if he is still a part of the gang or not.
