RBI Lateral Recruitment 2025: The Reserve Bank of India Services Board (RBISB) has released a notification inviting applications for lateral recruitment of experts across multiple domains. As per the official RBI notice, a total of 93 vacancies have been announced at Grade C, Grade D and Grade E levels.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official RBI opportunities portal, opportunities.rbi.org.in, till January 6, 2026.
The recruitment drive covers specialised roles in data science, information technology, cyber security, risk management, analytics, banking supervision and policy research. The post-wise vacancy distribution is as follows:

The online registration and submission of applications, along with payment of applicable fees or intimation charges, is open now. The last date to apply is January 6, 2026, and the application window will close at 6 pm on that day.
Candidates applying for these posts must generally fall within the 25 to 40 years age bracket, depending on the role. The upper age limit is 62 years, and age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories in accordance with government rules.

Step 3: Locate and open the advertisement for Lateral Recruitment of Experts.
Step 4: Click on the link to apply online for the relevant post.
Step 5: Complete the registration process by entering the required details.
Step 6: Log in and fill out the online application form carefully.
Step 7: Upload the required information and pay the application fee.
Step 8: Submit the application and download the acknowledgement slip and e-receipt for future reference.
Candidates may apply for multiple posts, but a separate application must be submitted for each post.
The recruitment process will not include a written examination. Candidates will be shortlisted through an initial screening process, followed by document verification and an interview.
Final selection will be based on overall performance and eligibility, and selected candidates will be appointed on a full-time contractual basis, as per RBI guidelines.
