The just-released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, the 20th installment in Activision’s blockbuster first-person shooter franchise, is now being bundled with Sony’s PlayStation 5 console at a tempting discounted price across major Indian e-commerce platforms.

Priced at Rs 49,390 for a limited time until November 23rd according to retailer Vijay Sales, gamers can pick up this PS5 + CoD package at heavily marked-down rates on Amazon, Croma, and Vijay Sales (though curiously not on Flipkart).

Specifically, the bundle pairs the 1TB solid state drive Digital Edition of the PS5, which omits the disc drive for all digital gaming, with Modern Warfare III, the direct sequel to 2022’s Modern Warfare reboot. The campaign follows Task Force 141 as they pursue Vladimir Makarov, a ruthless Russian ultra-nationalist terrorist mastermind plotting worldwide devastation.

With its cutting-edge 4K support, variable refresh rate, and ultra-fast SSD that virtually eliminates load times, the PlayStation 5 is considered one of the most powerful gaming consoles around.

But it’s also worth noting that this model will soon be succeeded by a new PS5 with significantly reduced dimensions and weight (but with no changes in performance). In a press release last month, Sony announced that this model will be available in the US in November, followed by a global rollout “in the following months.”
