At the Xbox Games Showcase 2023, Microsoft announced several new games along with a new variant of the Xbox Series S with 1TB storage called Carbon Black. The tech giant added that the Carbon Black colour is the same as the one on Xbox Series X and Xbox Wireless controller.
The new coloured Xbox Series S with double storage space compared to the base model will be available on September 1, which also happens to be the launch date for Starfield. Since the Xbox Series S is an all-digital console with no disc drive, the additional storage space might be useful for some.
Launched in late 2020, the Xbox Series S (review) is powered by a custom AMD Zen 2 CPU and an AMD RDNA2 GPU. The console supports 2K gaming at 120 fps and also supports ray tracing. Microsoft’s Xbox Series X and Series S have turned out to be one of the most-sold Xbox consoles to date.
The expected retail price of the new 1TB Xbox Series S is Rs 39,990, which is a bit more than the base model that comes with 512GB of storage. Apart from the console, you also get a Carbon Black Xbox wireless controller and an HDMI cable.
