Adobe has launched its Generative Remove in Adobe Lightroom and this brings the capabilities of Adobe Firefly directly into everyday photo-editing workflows across Lightroom mobile, web, and desktop surfaces. According to Adobe, Generative Remove is Lightroom’s most powerful remove tool yet. Besides, Lightroom has also added additional AI-powered features such as Lens Blur which adds aesthetic blur effects in a single click. This feature makes photo editing efficient for photographers across skill levels.

The streamlined Lightroom mobile user-interface makes it fun, easy and intuitive for all photographers. Adobe claims that Generative Remove gives all the power to remove unwanted objects from any photo non-destructively in a single click by intelligently matching the removed area with ‘pixel perfect generations for high-quality, realistic, and stunning’ results. The new tool helps in removing distractions from family photos, empowers professionals with nifty retouching workflows and more fine-grain control. Adobe has said that the Generative Remove is available today as an early access feature across the Lightroom ecosystem for millions of users.

“Whether you’re a hobbyist or a pro photographer, everyone wants to be able to quickly and easily edit their photos on the go,” said Ashley Still, senior vice president and general manager, Creative Cloud at Adobe. “We’re excited to bring the magic of Firefly to Lightroom’s millions of users – so they can live in the moment knowing they have the most powerful tools to edit, manage and share anywhere they are.”

Adobe said that Generative Remove in Lightroom simplifies complex edits, like removing stains, wrinkles, and reflections. The software giant claims that the new tool can amplify creativity. Additionally, the new features such as Lens Blur instantly adds effects with a single click and come with automatic presets.

For Sony camera users, the expanded tethering feature lets them real-time photo access in Lightroom Classic improving efficiency and team collaboration. Pictures can now have brighter highlights, deeper shadows, and vivid colours owing to HDR Optimisation. Moreover, users will also get instant access to photo libraries, along with a streamlined mobile toolbar that gives access to popular features instantly to allow easy editing.
