Sachin Tendulkar bowls at net session

Sachin Tendulkar sweats it out at the Mumbai Indians net session.

Sachin Tendulkar, who is down with a wrist injury, today sweated out at the Mumbai Indians net session though he remains a doubtful starter for the second IPL qualifier against Rajasthan Royals here tomorrow.

His team-mate Dwayne Smith said the senior India batsman has been recovering well from the left wrist injury he sustained last week. The injury kept him out for two league games as well as the first qualifier against Chennai Super Kings in New Delhi.

“Hopefully,he will play tomorrow. He is recovering well,” Smith said at the match-eve press conference.

At the nets,Tendulkar swung his arms to bowl his medium pacers from both on and round the wicket for about 45 minutes.

He was fully active on the field and also played football with his teammates.

Tendulkar, however, did not bat at the nets, apparently to avoid aggravation to his injury.

In a media statement yesterday,Mumbai Indians did not rule out Tendulkar from the tournament.
