BUILD-UP
# I know this phase can’t be taken for granted
Cricket Score, RCB vs KXIP, IPL 2016: Virat Kohli maintains he is not even sure if he’s peaked yet. (Source: BCCI/IPL)
India’s star batsman Virat Kohli says he has not batted better than the last two months but stopped short of calling the ongoing phenomenal phase as the peak of his career. “I don’t know if if I have reached my peak yet. It just feels that I have just started in the last couple of months. Coaches including in IPL ask me regularly whether I have hit peak or not. All I can say is that I have been hitting the ball better than I have ever but I know this phase can’t be taken for granted,” said Kohli.
# I don’t mind ten stitches on my hand if we win the next two matches: Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli sustained a split webbing on his left hand while fielding against KKR as he went for a diving catch.
# It took time but I’ve adjusted well to T20’s: Hashim Amla

Senior South Africa batsman Hashim Amla, who is finally getting to play in the Indian Premier League, feels he is now more comfortable with T20 format and there is no reason why conventional batsmen like him can’t succeed in the shortest format.
