Yuvraj Singh limped off at the end of a bare-foot football session involving the Indian team on Tuesday. The side has been playing football to warm-up before practice sessions. However, this was the first time at the World T20 that the team was playing football without shoes. Team manager RN Baba said that the team’s trainer had suggested that the cricketers play football without shoes.

“The instruction came from the trainer,” Baba said when asked why the Indian cricketers weren’t wearing shoes. However, there was no official word on the extent of Yuvraj’s injury. The left-handed batsman shrugged off poor form by making 60 off 43 balls in the dead rubber game against Australia on Sunday.
