The run-up to the Assembly elections in Telangana saw a high-octane campaign by parties, which saw their bigwigs descend on a slew of constituencies across the state, especially in the final leg of the electioneering. The outcome of the polls on Sunday would determine the political fate of over 2,000 candidates who contested from the state’s 119 seats.
