MONTREAL, JAN 15: Canadian Olympic gold medalist Myriam Bedard gave WM Wrigley Jr Co something to chew on Friday, announcing she was suing it for 500,000.
Bedard, 30, alleged Wrigley, one of the world8217;s largest makers of chewing gum, used her image without her consent in an advertising campaign. She is a sports hero in Canada after winning two gold medals in the women8217;s biathlon at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway.
