Women8217;s literary meet

PUNE, April 22: Vasant Bapat, president of Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Sahitya Sangh, will preside over the first all-women literary meet scheduled for April 26 at the Balgandharva Rangmandir.

A seminar, a kavi sammelan and interviews of Meeran Borwankar, Satara DSP, Smita Talwalkar, actress, and industrialist Leela Poonawala have been organised. The interviews will be conducted by Sudhir Gadgil. The seminar on Women8217;s role on the threshold of the 21st century8217; will be presided over by activists Shantabai Kirloskar and Vidya Bal. The kavi sammelan will be presided over by Dr Anuradha Potdar. Participants include Saroja Padki, Aruna Dhere, Sangita Joshi, Sangita Barve, Manisha Dixit, Vimal Limaye, Sanjivini Bokil, Hema Lele, Asawari Kakide, Bharati Pande, Meera Shinde, Sunita Manohar and Shalini Bhosale.
