Why does it take the PM to intervene and promise follow-up actions? Police 038; CBI only go for high profile names for publicity purposes. Where is CBI now. Why they have not yet started to investigate mafia and other government officials, including local police to nail the mafia gang once and for all.
Terrorism comes in many shapes and forms. One is economic terrorism. Manjunath is victim of this kind of terrorism.

8226;Samuel L Dingliana, India

Manjunath was an honest and straightforward man and a good friend. It is sick that in this so called 8220;new millennium8221;, gun wielding goons still didn8217;t think twice about snuffing out the life of a man who was after all just doing his job. No amount of progress we make in science or business will ever make a difference if we are not able to establish rule of law.

Firstly my heartfelt condolences to Late Manjunath8217;s family. I am a JCE graduate too. It is impossible to even imagine what these grieved families would be going through. I request that justice is given, and hope for the circumstances to improve for the better.

It is very sad. Manjunath died like a soldier or a fire fighter. His and Dubey8217;s sacrifice should not be in vain. The cause of their murders and mafia culture which rules Indian society is embedded in the Indian politics and the indifference Indians show towards such occurrences.

India has not lost just an IIM graduate, but it has lost a courageous and future leader of India. Its uncompensated loss for the people of India. He might have dead, but his courage and dedication will never die, it will be an inspiration for future leaders. I bow with great respect for his sacrifice for the welfare of the Indian people.

I don8217;t have words to describe my feelings towards this injustice done. How can someone do this to a person who wouldn8217;t even think of harming an ant? Is this the price one pays for being honest? Is this the security that an organisation provides to its employee?
Your words of advice are still fresh in my mind, our college orchestra days, our dramatics skits, our late night talks about principles, ethics and morale of life. Miss you a lot Manju anna.

I am so sorry to read about Manjunath. I didn8217;t know him personally but I have heard him singing in various competitions. He used to sing 8216;Pyar hemein kis mode pe le aaya8217;, I have never seen anybody singing that song with such spirit. It is awful to hear he has been punished for doing his job?? For criminal8217;s mafia is there to protect, who is there to protect people like Manjunath. I could only say god should give strength to Manjunath8217;s parents and may his soul rest in peace.

This incident is another body blow to honesty which goes to show that the path to truth is laden with such hardships and one must be ready to sacrifice even his life for upholding his ideals and values. In Manjunath we have another martyr whose sacrifice should reinforce our resolve to work for honesty and truth in whatever way we can and wherever we are. Good luck and long live Manjunath!

This is a loss for the whole country 8211; a direct attack on the future of the country. The killers should be sentenced to death in order to set a precedent that the country will not tolerate evil.
