Cast: Jason Biggs, Isla Fisher

Director: Michael Ian Black

Since American Pie, all Jason Biggs has ever been trying to do is get the woman of his dreams, in or out of bed. Wedding Daze is no different, except here his dream is cut short when he triggers an instant heart attack in his girlfriend when he comes dressed as Cupid, complete with shiny red briefs, to propose to her. And she dies.

For one year, he keeps moaning and mourning about it till, goaded by his friend, he decides to take a chance. So he asks the first girl he sees at a diner to marry him, and beset by her own problems, she agrees!

The premise isn8217;t bad, with a planned wedding as the starting point of a romance. And Biggs with his lost-boy looks is really endearing at times. But quickly this romantic comedy becomes less and less about romance Biggs and Fisher are about as interesting together as a pair of mismatched socks or comedy all the jokes are on their parents and, so what if they are over-sexed, they are still parents.

Biggs seems to be holding back, knowing he is no more young enough to excuse away the grossness of American Pie nor yet mature enough to pull off the piquancy of the situation he is in by the arc of an eyebrow. Wedding or not, he certainly seems in a daze.
