London: Dalai Lama,the Tibetan spiritual leader has become the worlds most senior religious leader to join Twitter after the Pope Benedict XVI and others. Just two weeks after joining the site,the Dalai Lama has already attracted 140,000 followers. The Telegraph said the Dalai Lama is using his Twitter account to inform people of his activities and travels and has shied away from making any strong political statements.

Kids direct planes at JFK airport,dad suspended

New York: An air traffic controller has been suspended for allowing his children to direct planes at New Yorks JFK Airport. Glen Duffy,48,let his children give directions to pilots on the radio,and the recordings later appeared on the Internet. His supervisor has also been put on administrative leave. This lapse8230; not only violated FAAs own policies,but common sense standards for professional conduct, said FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt.
