WikiLeaks rap with Assange cameo a hit

LONDON: WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has made a cameo appearance on a satirical rap show. Australian internet hit Rap News features Assange on an edition entitled News World Order 8211; the war on journalism. The six-minute show is the work of university researcher Giordano Nanni,32,and English teacher Hugo Farrant,30,whose political satire set to a hip hop beat has already got 400,000 hits since it was posted last week on YouTube. The Daily Mail reported that Assange contacted the pair after seeing a previous edition about the Pentagons reaction to WikiLeaks releasing secret diplomatic cables. Media reports quoted the pair saying,He Assange felt we nailed it. The pair reportedly offered Assange a role in their parody and the WikiLeaks boss was totally up for it.

Fantastic Four to become trio

LONDON: The Fantastic Four,the fictional comic superheros created about 50 years ago,are set to become three,with one character to be killed in the January edition. Publisher Marvel Comics has said that a member of the group,which comprise Mr Fantastic,Invisible Woman,Human Torch and the Thing,will die in issue No 587 next month. All were left in life-threatening situations in the latest issue. Tom Brevoort,the executive editor who oversees the comic book,said there had been plenty of clues as to who will die during the current storyline.
