LOS ANGELES: Indian origin model-turned TV host Padma Lakshmi has become the proud mother of a baby girl. The 39-year-old former wife of author Salman Rushdie announced in last year that she was expecting her first child. A representative for Lakshmi has confirmed that she gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday,Us Magazine reported.
