Uproar over Shunglu report

In the wake of the scathing Shunglu report on CWG,the BJP on Friday forced adjournment of the Rajya Sabha and staged a walkout in the Lok Sabha,demanding resignation of the Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit besides action against Lieutenant Governor Tejender Khanna.

While senior BJP leader L K Advani sought tabling of the report in the LS,his colleagues in the RS did not restrain themselves,with Venkaiah Naidu seeking penal action against the Delhi LG and the CMs ouster.

The damning contents of the second report by former CAG V K Shunglu was first reported by The Indian Express on Wednesday. The Centre decided to make the report public on Friday. The Committee appointed by the PM himself has indicted the Delhi CM. She must quit forthwith, Naidu said. The House was adjourned for 15 minutes.

In the LS,Advani sought tabling of the report for a discussion. Not satisfied with the Parliamentary Affairs Ministers reply,the BJP walked out.
