UCO Bank Q2 net dips 42 to Rs 119 cr

UCO Bank's net profit for the quarter ended Sept 30,2010,declined 42.61 per cent.

UCO Bank8217;s net profit for the quarter ended September 30,2010,declined 42.61 per cent to Rs 119.19 crore,as against Rs 207.72 crore in the same period last year,the bank said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange BSE.

However,total income of UCO Bank for the July-September quarter increased to Rs 2,964.54 crore against Rs 2,609.82 crore in the corresponding period last year,it added.

Reacting sharply to the numbers,shares of Uco Bank plunged 3.82 per cent to trade at Rs 124.80 on the BSE.
