They ensured that Feku a pejorative description for one who boasts was one of the top-trending topics on the Twitter,just as PappuCII had been the day Rahul Gandhi spoke at CII function last week. As Modi talked about the empowerment of women at the function,the most common attack on him happened to be his treatment of his own family relatives.

THE new boss of the Centre for Railway Information Systems CRIS,the IT arm of the Indian Railways,Sunil Kumar,seems to have identified his priority very quickly. Immediately after taking over,Kumar summoned the officials responsible for running the e-ticketing operations behind the scene. He is learnt to have told them to slowly upgrade the capacity of the system to allow bookings of at least 100 tickets per second from the current rate of 22 tickets per second. Immediately after that,he held the meeting with the head of the IRCTC,which is the face of the e-ticketing operations on the Internet,and discussed the same matter with it. He is learnt to have made it clear that he does not want to give users many reasons to complain about the service.

SENIOR IPS officer Nalin Prabhat is back in Jammu and Kashmir once again. The CRPF IG has been sent back to replace S S Sandhu,who was recently demoted and transferred to the headquarters in Delhi. Prabhat,who was the CRPF DIG in Dantewada in 2010 when 76 policemen were massacred by Naxals on a single night,had earned his reputation in Jammu and Kashmir. He won a bravery award for his operation during a hotel siege in Srinagar in January 2010. After the Dantewada massacre,during which his role had come under a cloud,he was again shifted to the state before being moved to another Maoist hotbed,Gadchiroli in Maharashtra.
