Train staff held for molestation

A 26-year-old passenger of Vikramshila Express to Bhagalpur was allegedly molested by an attendant between Allahabad and Mughalsarai stations Thursday morning. The accused,Ram Darash of Bhagalpur,has been arrested,the Railway Police said.

Mughalsarai SHO Ratan Singh Yadav said the girl,employed in Canada,had boarded the train in New Delhi for her native Patna Wednesday. She alleged that after the train left Allahabad around 4 am,she woke up to the attendant molesting her. She caught him and raised an alarm,but he managed to run away. The co-passengers woke up and searched for the attendant but could not find him. The woman informed the Travelling Ticket Examiner and Railway Protection Force personnel on the train. The accused was found hiding in the pantry car.
