Toyota launches 8216;Liva8217; Rs 3.99 lakh

8220;The company,which is present in India through a joint venture with the Kirloskar Group,has invested Rs 3,200 crore to set up its second manufacturing facility in Bangalore with an initial installed capacity of 70,000 units per annum.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Managing Director Hiroshi Nakagawa said.

The company had last year launched Etios,the sedan version of Liva in the country.

8220;We will increase the production of the second plant from 70,000 units to 1,20,000 units to shorten the waiting period for Etios and meet future demand of Liva,8221; Nakagawa said.
