Dharmendra and Hema Malini celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary recently. It was also celebration time for them as Dharmendra was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Ratna award for his contribution to the Hindi film industry spanning over five decades.

The husband and wife will be seen together after a long time in Tell Me O Khuda that also has daughter Esha Deol starring in their home production.

Paying obeisance

Kangna Ranaut recently visited the Dargah Sharif in Ajmer and spent 15 minutes praying inside the shrine. She offered a chaadar and even tied the sacred thread (mannat ka dhaaga) as a part of obeisance.

Religious family

Vivek Oberoi recently attended an interactive session held by Baba Ramdev for the business and media world. He was accompanied by his father,actor Suresh Oberoi,mother Yashodhara,sister Meghna and wife Priyanka.

Cars chase

Actor Ashutosh Rana’s car was stolen from his residential building in Mumbai’s Versova area on May 3. The red and white Pajero car,which was a gift from his wife Renuka,was parked outside Leela Apartments at Versova and was spotted missing by the watchman of the building in the morning. A report was filed at the police station. Even actor-director Vinay Apte’s car and Rs 15,000 in cash were stolen allegedly by his driver from Andheri during the week.

Giving up office

Actor Mohan Joshi,who has done negative roles in many Hindi films like Gangaajal,Vaastav,resigned from the post of the president of Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Natya Parishad. Recently,Joshi and fellow actor Chetan Dalvi,who were in Nashik for a film shoot,allegedly created ruckus in a drunken state and were beaten up by locals. He submitted his resignation to the executive committee.

Deepika,a 22-year-old girl from Delhi,on whom the film Ragini MMS is based,faced the media recently to talk about her complaints against producer Ekta Kapoor. She is upset with Ekta as the film has not been shown to her as per the contract with Balaji Films and Ekta,who has been dodging her calls.
