While the HRD Ministry has considerably liberalised its selection criteria for a new CBSE Chairman and is said to have got a decent list of candidates ranging from heads of institutions to academics,at this second attempt to get the crucial post filled,the needle is quickly swerving in the favour of acting chairman Vineet Joshi. The ministry is said to be quite impressed with the way Joshi has steered the school board as acting chairman for more than six months now.
