Shorr,a gritty and funny portrait of Mumbai with three inter-connected stories,is set during the popular and chaotic Ganpati festival in the city.

Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s Shorr,a product of Alt Entertainment,a sister brand of Balaji Motion Pictures,is making the round of film festivals all over the world. It premiered at the New York Film Festival last month and the filmmakers won the best director award at the Pusan Festival in South Korea.

The film,a gritty and funny portrait of Mumbai with three inter-connected stories,is set during the popular and chaotic Ganpati festival in the city. While Tusshar Kapoor plays a bootlegger,Nikhil Dwivedi portrays the role of a petty criminal and British actor Sendhil Ramamurthy is an NRI. Shorr will now be screened at the Berlin and Cairo film festival before it releases in India in February.
